Yvette van Vliet the owner and Principal of The Little Schoolhouse Educational Centre has over a decade's experience of running her own school. A dedicated teacher, Yvette lives by the quote from BENJAMIN FRANKLIN, Tell me and I forget, Teach me and I remember, Involve me and I Learn.
A mother herself, Yvette understands how important it is to feel the reassurance of taking your little one to a school where he/she will be loved, cared for and taught all the principles needed for school readiness.
Situated at the corner of Cutten and Kilburn Street in Roodepoort, amidst a tranquil setting which ensures distraction free learning for your kids. We have an onsite security guard who assists with child protection and general site security, giving you peace of mind.
We cater for children between the ages of three months to five year olds, and have age appropriate, small classes that ensure each child gets personalised attention from the teachers. At the end of terms two and four, we provide reports that allow parents to track their children's progress and give the oportunity to evaluate how we contribute to their learning.
We follow government school terms and operate between 06:30 - 18:00 daily. We are open during school holidays but close on public holidays.
